Custom Injection Moulding & Mould Tooling, Spec to Volume
From a single moulded housing to high-volume production, the tool decides quality and piece price. P&A International engineers plastic and rubber injection moulding and mould-tool manufacture — a comprehensive range of shapes from many materials, including transparent lens and optics — with over-moulding, post-machining and finishing.
As an engineering-led contract manufacturer founded as an engineering consultancy, we assign one dedicated engineer from mould-tool design to free off-tool samples, then scale into volume through our vetted partner-factory network, where every supplier is ISO 9000 certified or better.

What we deliver

Injection moulding
Plastic and rubber moulded parts in many materials, from miniature components to large housings and panels.

Mould-tool manufacture
Single and multi-cavity, hot- and cold-runner mould tools designed and built for your volume and budget.

Over-moulding & inserts
Over-moulding (co-mould) for soft-touch and seals, plus insert moulding of metal and electronic components.

Optics & finishing
Transparent lens and optics, plus texturing, painting, chroming, pad printing, post-machining and assembly.
Engineering capability
- Mould-tool design — single, multi-cavity, hot- and cold-runner
- Plastic and rubber materials including transparent lens and optics
- Over-moulding (co-mould) and insert moulding
- Design-for-moulding — wall thickness, draft, ribs and gating
- Post-machining of moulded parts where required
- Finishing — texture, painting, chroming, pad printing
- Assembly, kitting and private-label programs
- Free off-tool samples with quality-assessment reports before any volume order

Why engineers & buyers choose PA
For design engineers
A true design partner — one dedicated engineer, mould-tool strategy, design-for-moulding review (wall, draft, ribs, gating) and material selection including optical grades. We design the tool around your part, not the other way round.
For purchasing
Low-risk scalability — free off-tool samples before mass production, tooling matched to your volume, target-cost DFM, a single point of contact, and a vetted ISO 9000+ partner network managed end-to-end by P&A.
3 easy steps to get started
Send us your part
Share a 3D model, material and volume — or just the application. One dedicated engineer recommends the tooling and material.
Proposed tooling & quote
You receive a proposed mould-tool and moulding strategy with indicative pricing — typically within 48 hours.
Samples & production
Free off-tool samples with quality-assessment reports. On approval, your parts are moulded, finished, inspected and shipped through our partner network.
Applications
Consumer products & appliances · electronics & enclosures · automotive · medical & optics · lighting lenses · industrial components.
Injection moulding sits alongside our metal capability. Explore the aluminium & metal hub, CNC machining for tooling and inserts, die casting for metal housings, and our contract manufacturing capabilities.
Designing a better moulded part
A few early decisions shape every moulding — sharing this detail lets us quote and prototype faster:
| Wall thickness | Keep walls uniform (typ. 1.5–3 mm); thick sections sink and warp. |
| Draft | Add draft to all faces (typ. 1–2°) so parts release cleanly. |
| Ribs & bosses | Rib thickness ~60% of wall to avoid sink marks on the show face. |
| Material | Match the polymer to strength, temperature, optics and compliance. |
| Tooling class | Volume sets the tooling — prototype/soft tool for low volume, multi-cavity hot-runner for high volume. |
What to send us for a fast, accurate quote
The more of this you can share, the quicker we can return a proposed design and price:
- A 3D model (STEP/IGES) and a drawing
- Plastic / rubber material or grade (we can advise)
- Optical or cosmetic requirements
- Annual volume (drives the tooling class)
- Over-mould / insert / assembly needs
- Target cost and call-off pattern
Not sure of the material or tooling? Send the part and application — recommending the polymer and tool is part of what our engineer does.
